AN ACT RELATIVE TO RESIDENT INSURANCE AGENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives
in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same,
The first paragraph of section 157 of chapter 175 of the General Laws, as
appearing in the 1994 Official Edition, is
hereby amended by adding the following sentence:- A facsimile of a signature
of any such resident agent imprinted on any property or casualty insurance
issued by mail, computer modem or facsimile machine, so-called, shall have the
same validity as a written signature.
