AN ACT RELATIVE TO THE RETIREMENT ALLOWANCE OF ROBERT LALLY OF THE TOWN OF WELLESLEY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives
in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same,
Notwithstanding the provisions of section 7 of
of the General Laws, the disability retirement allowance provided to retired
police officer Robert Lally of the town of Wellesley under said section 7
shall be increased from its present 72 per cent of his last 12 months regular
compensation to 100 per cent, or to an amount equal to the regular rate of
compensation which he would have been paid had he continued in service as a
police officer of said town at the grade held by him at the time of his
retirement, whichever is higher.
This act shall take effect upon its passage.
