AN ACT DESIGNATING A CERTAIN BRIDGE IN THE TOWN OF NORTHBRIDGE AS THE CHARLES AMPAGOOMIAN, SR. MEMORIAL BRIDGE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives
in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same,
The bridge, N-2112, spanning the Providence and Worcester Railroad Company
tracks on state highway route 122 in the town of Northbridge, shall be
designated and known as the
Charles Ampagoomian, Sr. Memorial Bridge, in memory of the late Charles
who served his country gallantly in the United States Army
in World War II and dedicated his life to the town of Northbridge by exemplary
service in town government, and as a dedicated volunteer for numerous senior
citizen organizations. A suitable marker bearing said designation shall be
attached thereto by the department of highways in compliance with the standards
of said department.
