AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE TOWN OF PALMER TO ISSUE AN ADDITIONAL LICENSE FOR THE SALE OF WINES AND MALT BEVERAGES TO BE DRUNK ON THE PREMISES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives
in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same,
Notwithstanding the provisions of section 17 of chapter 138 of the General Laws,
the licensing authority of the town of Palmer may issue a
license for the sale of wines and malt beverages to be drunk on the premises
under the provisions of section 12 of said chapter 138 to The Palmer Inn.
Such license shall be subject to all the provisions of said chapter 138,
except said section 17; provided, however, that the licensing authority shall
not approve the transfer of such license to any other person, organization,
corporation or location for a period of not less than one year.
This act shall take effect upon its passage.
