AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE TOWN OF FAIRHAVEN TO ISSUE AN ADDITIONAL LICENSE FOR THE SALE OF ALL ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES TO BE DRUNK ON THE PREMISES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives
in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same,
Notwithstanding the provisions of section 17 of chapter 138 of the General Laws, the licensing authority of the town of
Fairhaven may issue to Fort Phoenix Post No. 2892,
Veterans of Foreign Wars of
the U.S. Inc. a license to sell all alcoholic beverages to be drunk on the
premises under the provisions of section 12 of
said chapter 138. Such license shall be subject to all of the provisions of
said chapter 138, except said section 17 and except that the license
authorized by this act shall not be transferred to another location but may be
transferred to another person at the same location.
This act shall take effect upon its passage.
