AN ACT ESTABLISHING THE POSITION OF DEPUTY CHIEF OF POLICE IN THE CITY KNOWN AS THE TOWN OF FRANKLIN.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives
in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same,
The city known as the town of Franklin may establish the
deputy chief of police in the police department of said town of Franklin.
Notwithstanding the provisions of any general or special
law to the
position of deputy chief of police in the police department of the town of
Franklin shall be
exempt from the provisions of chapter 31 of the General Laws.
This act shall take effect upon its passage.
