AN ACT RELATIVE TO DESIGNATING THE PETER G. PIRO MEMORIAL BRIDGE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives
in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same,
The bridge on
street between Clyde street and Franey road in the city of Somerville, now
as the Cedar street bridge, shall be known and designated as the Alderman
Peter G. Piro Memorial Bridge, in memory of Alderman at Large Peter G. Piro
the Magoun square
section of said city of Somerville, who devoted his adult life to the service
and in particular to the young adults of said city of Somerville. The
department of highways shall erect and maintain a suitable marker bearing the
designation in compliance with the standards of the department.
