AN ACT RELATIVE TO RECALL ELECTIONS IN THE TOWN OF SHEFFIELD.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives
in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same,
Chapter 320 of the acts of 1994 is hereby amended by striking out section 1
and inserting in place thereof the following section:-
Any holder of an elective office in the town of Sheffield
may be recalled therefrom by the qualified voters of said town as
provided in this act for any of the following reasons: lack of fitness;
of duties; corruption;
or violation of oath. Exercising
discretion in voting or acting on matters before such office
holder shall not constitute a reason for recall.
