AN ACT ESTABLISHING THE OFFICE OF TREASURER-COLLECTOR IN THE TOWN OF CARLISLE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives
in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same,
Notwithstanding section 1 of
chapter 41 of the
General Laws or any other general or special law to the contrary, the board of
selectmen of the town of Carlisle shall appoint a treasurer-collector for a
of 1, 2 or 3 years. The town treasurer-collector, so appointed, shall
have all the powers, perform the duties and be subject to the liabilities and
penalties conferred or imposed by law on town treasurers or
