AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE TOWN OF MASHPEE TO GRANT ADDITIONAL LICENSES FOR THE SALE OF ALL ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES TO BE DRUNK ON THE PREMISES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives
in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same,
Notwithstanding section 17 of chapter 138 of the General Laws, the
authority of the town of Mashpee may grant additional licenses for the sale of
all alcoholic beverages to be drunk on the premises pursuant to section 12 of
chapter 138. Any such licenses shall be issued in
with a common victualler's license issued under chapter 140 of the General
to conduct a restaurant, or in conjunction with an innholder's license issued
pursuant to said chapter 140 to conduct a hotel, or in conjunction with a club
pursuant to said section 12 of said chapter 138, or in conjunction with a
issued to a war veterans organization pursuant to said section 12 of said
chapter 138. Any such license shall be subject to all the provisions of said
chapter 138 except said section 17.
