AN ACT DESIGNATING A PORTION OF THE LOWELL HERITAGE STATE PARK AS THE MARY BACIGALUPO VICTORIAN GARDEN.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives
in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same,
A certain parcel of land within the Lowell heritage state park, under the
and control of the department of conservation and recreation, shall be
designated and known as "Mary Bacigalupo Victorian Garden", in honor of the
tremendous service of Mary Bacigalupo, a Lowell citizen who was instrumental in
the beautification of the city of Lowell. Suitable markers bearing that
designation shall be erected by the department of conservation and recreation
in compliance with the standards of the department. The department of
conservation and recreation may enter into a memorandum of agreement with the
city of Lowell to facilitate this act.
