AN ACT EXTENDING THE TIME FOR POLITICAL PARTY COMMITTEES TO ORGANIZE IN THE CURRENT YEAR.

tend to defeat its purpose, which is
forthwith to extend the time for political party committees to organize in
April of the current year,
therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law,
necessary for the immediate preservation of the

in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same,
Notwithstanding sections 1 and 4 of chapter 52 of the General Laws, in the
current year a state, city, ward or town committee of a political party shall
meet and organize within 20 days after the thirtieth day following the
election of its members.
