AN ACT REGULATING THE USE OF LOWELL PARK IN THE TOWN OF BARNSTABLE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives
in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same,
Notwithstanding any general or special law to the
contrary, the town
manager of the town of Barnstable may permit the Cotuit
Athletic Association, Inc. to construct and maintain a building of not more
40 feet in height or 800 square feet in gross floor area on Lowell
in the town of Barnstable.
The Barnstable town manager may delegate, subject to his
determinations of scheduling of the use of the park to the Cotuit Athletic
Association, Inc., in order to accommodate the use of the park by the Cotuit
Athletic Association and the Cotuit Kettleers of the Cape Cod Baseball League,
Inc., as well as the general public.
This act shall take effect upon its passage.
