AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE TOWN OF WESTWOOD TO GRANT LICENSES FOR THE SALE OF ALL ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES AND WINES AND MALT BEVERAGES TO BE DRUNK ON THE PREMISES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives
in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same,
Notwithstanding section 11 of chapter 138 of the General
Laws or any general or special law to the contrary, the licensing authority in
the town of Westwood may grant, to common victuallers licensed pursuant to
chapter 140 of the General Laws to conduct restaurants, licenses for the sale
alcoholic beverages and for the sale of wines and malt beverages to be drunk on
the premises under section 12 of said chapter 138. The
licenses shall be subject to all of said
chapter 138 except section 11.
This act shall take effect upon its passage.
