AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE TOWN OF MILTON TO APPROPRIATE MONEY FOR RETROACTIVE WAGE ADJUSTMENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives
in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same,
Notwithstanding section 108 of chapter 41 of the General
Laws or any other general or special law to the contrary, the town meeting of
the town of Milton may appropriate from funds certified by the department of
revenue as free cash the sum of $11,646 for the purpose of funding
retroactive wage increases for the town clerk and town treasurer for fiscal
year 2004 and fiscal year 2005, to be added to the salary account of
the town clerk in the amount of $5,823 and to the salary account of the town
in the amount of $5,823.
This act shall take effect upon its passage.
