","DocumentText":"\tChapter 54 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section 89 the following section:-\r\n\tSection 89A.  \r\n\tRecords identifying any voter who has applied to vote by absentee ballot shall be kept confidential and shall not be considered a public record under clause Twenty-sixth of section 7 of chapter 4 until the ballot has been returned; provided, however, that election officials may use these records in the proper discharge of their duties.\r\n","EmergencyPreamble":null,"RollCalls":[],"Attachments":[],"CommitteeRecommendations":[{"Action":"Accompanied","FiscalAmounts":[],"Committee":{"CommitteeCode":"J15","GeneralCourtNumber":190,"Details":"https://malegislature.gov/api/GeneralCourts/190/Committees/J15"},"Votes":[]}],"Amendments":[]}
