{"AmendmentNumber":"1050","ParentBillNumber":"H4000","Bill":null,"Sponsor":{"Id":"BFR1","Name":"Brandy Fluker-Reid","Type":1,"Details":"https://malegislature.gov/api/GeneralCourts/194/LegislativeMembers/BFR1","ResponseDate":"2025-04-17T18:09:15.903"},"Category":"Labor and Economic Development","Action":"Consolidated","RollCall":[],"Title":"Commission to determine the employer of employees of the Committee on Public Counsel Services ","Branch":"House","RedraftNumber":null,"IsFurther":false,"GeneralCourtNumber":194,"Text":"Mrs. Fluker-Reid of Boston moves to amend the bill by adding the following section: \r\n\r\nSECTION XXXX: Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, there is hereby established, a commission to determine the employer of employees of the Committee on Public Counsel Services as outlined in Department of Labor Relations case number WMAP-15-4647.\r\n\r\nThe commission shall consist of the following members:\r\nThe Chief Justice of Administration and Management or their designee;\r\nThe Director of the Commonwealth’s Division of Labor Relations or their designee;\r\nDirector of the Commonwealth’s Division of Human Resources or their designee;\r\nThe President of SEIU LOCAL 888 or their designee;\r\nThe Chair of the Committee for Public Counsel Services or their designee;\r\nThe Chief Legal Counsel of the Committee for Public Counsel Services or their designee;\r\nThe President of the Mass Bar Association or their designee;\r\nThe Chairs of the House and Senate committees on public service. \r\n\r\nSaid commission shall meet and determine the appropriate recommendation and forward same to the clerks of the House and Senate within eighteen (18) months of enactment.\r\n"}
