Section 1 of chapter 164 of the General Laws, as so appearing in the 2020 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting the following after the definition of “FERC”:-\r\n“Fusion energy”, energy generated through the process of fusing together atomic nuclei.\r\n“Fusion power plant”, means a facility for the production of electricity, and co-generation of heat if applicable, from the generation of fusion energy and includes all equipment and facilities to enable and support such generation.\r\nSECTION X. Said section 1 of chapter 164, is hereby further amended by inserting after the word “hydroelectric” in line 295 following words:- ; fusion energy\"\r\n\r\n"}
