Section 3 of Chapter 62 of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby amended by inserting after paragraph B., subparagraph 20 the following subparagraph:-\r\n\t(21) An amount equal to the amount paid in electric, gas, propane gas, and oil utilities for the taxable year; provided, however, that the deduction allowed under this paragraph shall not exceed three thousand dollars.\r\n\tThis section shall take effect upon passage and the deduction shall remain in effect until December 31, 2026.”\r\n"}
