Item 6720-2258 of section 2F of said chapter 176 is hereby amended by inserting after the word \"commerce\" the following:- \"; provided, that $1,000,000 shall be expended for a municipal grant program to assist cities and towns in purchasing safety devices required under section 7 of chapter 90 of the General Laws for municipally owned or leased motor vehicles, semi‑trailers or semi‑trailer units, as defined in section 1 of said chapter 90\" and by striking out the figure “10,000,000” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- 23,000,000.\"\r\n"}
