Clause Forty-third of section 7 of chapter 4 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2024 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the word ‘army,’ the following words:- ‘the commissioned corps of the United States public health service, the commissioned corps of the national oceanic and atmospheric administration,’.\r\n\r\nSaid clause Forty-third is hereby further amended by adding the following paragraph:-\r\n\r\nService in the commissioned corps of the United States public health service or the commissioned corps of the national oceanic and atmospheric administration shall be deemed to be active service in the armed forces for the purposes of this clause.”\r\n"}
