Muradian, Jr.","Type":1,"Details":"https://malegislature.gov/api/GeneralCourts/194/LegislativeMembers/DKM1","ResponseDate":"2026-07-06T16:39:14.6"},"Category":null,"Action":"Consolidated","RollCall":[],"Title":"Clarifying Permits for the Transport of Alcoholic Beverages to Farmers Markets","Branch":"House","RedraftNumber":null,"IsFurther":false,"GeneralCourtNumber":194,"Text":"Mr. Muradian of Grafton moves to amend the bill by adding the following section:\r\n\r\nSECTION XXX.\r\nNotwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, a holder of a license issued pursuant to section 19B, 19C, 19D or 19E shall not be required to obtain a separate transportation permit for each vehicle used for the transportation of alcoholic beverages produced by the licensee directly to and from an indoor or outdoor agricultural event for which the licensee has been granted a special license pursuant to section 15F, and a transportation permit issued to the licensee shall authorize transportation in any vehicle operated by the licensee or their employee, provided, that:\r\n(i) the alcoholic beverages shall remain under the custody and control of the licensee or an employee or authorized agent of the licensee;\r\n(ii) the vehicle shall carry documentation identifying the licensee, the destination event and an inventory or invoice of the alcoholic beverages being transported; and\r\n(iii) all other applicable provisions of this chapter and regulations of the Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission shall remain in effect.\r\nNothing in this paragraph shall be construed to authorize the transportation or delivery of alcoholic beverages by any person except as otherwise permitted by this chapter.\r\n"}
