Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the Massachusetts Convention Center Authority shall expend not less than $5,000,000 from the Boston Convention Center and Exhibition Center Fund established in section 10 of chapter 152 of the acts of 1997, as amended by section 439 of chapter 26 of the acts of 2003, for the benefit of the DCU Arena and Convention Center in the city of Worcester for long-term capital maintenance improvements, including, but not limited to: (i) heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC ) system improvements; (ii) exterior envelope upgrades and improvements, including façade, window, door and masonry repairs; and (iii) replacement of interior finishes throughout the facility.\r\n\r\n"}
