Tarr and Eldridge move that the proposed new text be amended by inserting in line 118 after, \"chapter 29\" the following:- \"(n) The commissioners by majority vote shall designate an employee to serve as the ombudsman for the commission. The ombudsman shall act as the primary point of contact for licensees, potential licensees, and other stakeholders, and shall be responsible for receiving inquiries, facilitating communication, and assisting in the resolution of concerns relating to the commission’s operations, licensing processes, and regulatory requirements. The ombudsman shall report regularly to the commission on issues raised and may recommend policy or procedural changes to improve transparency, efficiency, and stakeholder engagement.\"\r\n"}
