Tarr and Durant, Mrs. Dooner and Mr. O'Connor moved that the proposed new text be amended by inserting after section _ the following new section:-\r\n\"SECTION 1 Section 8 of Chapter 50 of the Acts of 2023 is hereby amended by striking therein the term \"8.5 percent\" and replacing it therein with the following:-- \"6.84 percent\"\r\nSECTION 2. Section 8 of Chapter 50 of the Acts of 2023 is hereby amended by striking therein the term \"8.5 percent\" and replacing it therein with the following:-- \"5.18 percent\"\r\nSection 3. Section 8 of Chapter 50 of the Acts of 2023 is hereby amended by striking therein the term \"8.5 percent\" and replacing it therein with the following:-- \"5 percent\"\r\nSection 4. Section 1 shall take effect for the fiscal year immediately following the passage of this act.\r\nSection 5. Section 2 shall take effect for the fiscal year one year after the passage of this act.\r\nSection 6. Section 3 shall take effect for the fiscal year two years after the passage of this act.\"\r\n"}
