Cyr, Mark, Payano and Collins, Ms. Edwards, Ms. Kennedy and Messrs. Eldridge and Driscoll move that the proposed new text be amended  in section 2A, in item 1596-2526, by inserting the following words:- \"; provided that the executive office of transportation shall convene a task-force on micro-transit to study existing and emerging micro-transit services and funding in the commonwealth, including but not limited to different operating models and services; funding sources, limitations and needs; and ways to utilize micro-transit to close mobility gaps, and the impacts of micro-transit services on the transportation workforce, including job quality, wages, benefits, worker classification, and labor standards; and opportunities to support and protect workers in the transition to and expansion of micro-transit services, which shall consist of the secretary of the executive office of transportation, who shall serve as chair; the secretary of the executive office of aging and independence or designee; the house and senate chairs of the joint committee on transportation; 1 member of the house of representatives, who shall be appointed by the speaker of the house of representatives; and 1 member of the senate, who shall be appointed by the president of the senate; 1 member representing organized labor in the transportation sector, to be appointed by the chair; and additional members appointed by the chair; provided further that said commission shall file a final report of its study and recommendations with the clerks of the senate and house of representatives, the house and senate committees on ways and means, the joint committee on transportation and the secretary of transportation not later than 15 months after this section takes effect\". \r\n"}
