Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 131, Section 40 as appearing in the 2024 edition, is hereby amended by inserting at the end of line 515 the following:- 'It shall be the policy of the Commonwealth to require, to the maximum feasible extent, the beneficial re-use of materials yielded by dredging projects for applications including, but not limited to, beach nourishment, marsh and wetland revitalization, and emergency stockpiling'.\"\r\n"}
