{"AmendmentNumber":"392","ParentBillNumber":"S3064","Bill":null,"Sponsor":{"Id":"DAL1","Name":"David Henry Argosky LeBoeuf","Type":1,"Details":"https://malegislature.gov/api/GeneralCourts/194/LegislativeMembers/DAL1","ResponseDate":"2026-06-16T16:05:21"},"Category":null,"Action":"Consolidated","RollCall":[],"Title":"Gateway Cities contaminated building removal pilot","Branch":"House","RedraftNumber":null,"IsFurther":false,"GeneralCourtNumber":194,"Text":"Mr. LeBoeuf of Worcester moves to amend the bill in section 2F, in item 1100-2524, in line 434, by inserting after \"assets\" the following: \"; provided further, that not less than $5,000,000 shall be expended for a pilot program, administered by the Massachusetts Development Finance Agency consistent with the Brownfields Redevelopment Fund established in section 29A of chapter 23G of the General Laws to the extent not inconsistent with this item, to provide grants and other financial assistance to gateway municipalities, as defined in section 3A of chapter 23A of the General Laws, and to redevelopment authorities and agencies and developers undertaking projects therein, for the assessment, abatement, remediation and demolition of buildings and structures that contain asbestos, polychlorinated biphenyls, lead or other oil or hazardous materials, as defined in section 2 of chapter 21E of the General Laws, where the purpose of such activity is to prepare a site for the development of housing; provided further, that a building or structure shall be eligible for such assistance regardless of whether a release of oil or hazardous material reportable under said chapter 21E has occurred at the site and provided further, that priority shall be given to projects that will produce multifamily or mixed-income housing and to projects located in or serving environmental justice populations, as defined in section 62 of chapter 30 of the General Laws\"; and in said item by striking out the figures \"$50,000,000\" and inserting in place thereof the figures \"$55,000,000\".\r\n"}
