Eldridge and Collins, Ms. Jehlen, Ms. Edwards, Mr.  Gómez, Ms. Howard and Mr. Feeney move that the proposed new text be amended in section 94, by inserting after the words “moderate-income rebates and incentive”, in line 3322, the following words:- \"Moderate-income eligibility for residents within a Designated Equity Community (DEC) may be established by (a) self-attestation of income under penalty of perjury; (b) categorical eligibility for a rate class defined by the Department of Public Utilities as moderate income; or (c) through categorical eligibility based on residence in an identified high-energy-burden census tract, building, or existing participation in state or municipal public benefit programs.\"; and\r\nIn said section 94, by striking after the words “moderate-income rebates and incentive”, in line 3322, the following words:- \"Household income verification shall not be required for low-income eligible customers and renters and incentives shall remain accessible to residents in affordable housing.\"\r\n"}
