Section 21 of Chapter 25 of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking paragraph (4), and inserting in place thereof the following paragraph:-\r\n“(4). Notwithstanding the requirements of paragraph (1) of subsection (b), the plans shall be constructed to meet or exceed the goal set by the secretary pursuant to section 3B of chapter 21N, provided that the plans shall be constructed so as to limit funding for Mass Save to no more than funding levels for Mass Save in the 2025 to 2027 funding plan, adjusted triennially for inflation”.\r\nSECTION X+1. Section 22 of Chapter 25 of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby amended by inserting at the end thereof the following new paragraph:-\r\n“The council shall approve no budgets that increase the funding of the MassSave program beyond funding available to the program in the 2025 to 2027 funding plan, provided that future funding levels may be adjusted for inflation.\"\r\n"}
