Velis, Cronin and Tarr and Ms. Lovely move that the proposed new text be amended in section 24, by striking out the proposed fourth paragraph of section 7 of chapter 25A of the General Laws, and inserting in place thereof the following paragraph:-\r\n“The department may require resellers of petroleum products, including retail heating oil and propane suppliers, doing business in the commonwealth to report reasonable data on price, inventory and product delivery in a form determined by the department and may promulgate rules or regulations ensuring residential heating oil or propane prices are provided to consumers in a clear and conspicuous manner. The department shall maintain the data and may only publicly disclose the data in an aggregate and deidentified manner.”.\r\n"}
