Keenan, Tarr and Montigny and Ms. Lovely move that the proposed new draft be amended  in section 1 by striking out, in lines 149 to 152, \"(3) A covered operator shall not: (i) provide a user with an option to change more than 1 such default setting at once; or (ii) request or prompt a user to change any such default settings, unless the change is necessary for the user to access a service or feature they have expressly and unambiguously requested.\"; and \r\nin said section 1, in proposed section 2 of chapter 93M of the General Laws, by inserting, after subsection (c), the following subsection:-\r\n\"(d) A covered operator shall not: (i) provide a user with an option to change more than 1 default setting under subsections (a) or (b) at once; or (ii) request or prompt a user to change any default settings under subsections (a) or (b), unless the change is necessary for the user to access a service or feature they have expressly and unambiguously requested.\"\r\n"}
