Section 21D of said chapter 40, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking out, in line 44, the word “mailing” and inserting in place thereof the following word:- paying.\r\nSECTION 39B. The fifth paragraph of said section 21D of said chapter 40, as so appearing, is hereby amended by inserting after the second sentence the following sentence:- A city or town may use an online payment mechanism or other electronic payment system or service as an alternative to payment by mail.”.\r\n"}
