Oliveira,  Gómez, Moore and Brady move that the proposed new text be amended by inserting the following section:- \r\n\t“SECTION XX. (a) Notwithstanding any general or special law or rule or regulation to the contrary, not later than 1 year after the effective date of this act, the executive office of economic development shall, in coordination with the executive office of labor and workforce development, the executive office of housing and livable communities, and the Massachusetts department of transportation, submit a report to the clerks of the senate and house of representatives, the joint committee on economic development and emerging technologies with recommendations for a statewide economic development plan.\r\n(b) The report shall include, but not be limited to: (i) strategic investments that can be made across the commonwealth; (ii) ensuring regional equity in investments from the executive office of economic development.”\r\n"}
