Fernandes and Cyr move that the proposed new text be amended by inserting after section 59 the following 27 sections:-\r\n“SECTION 59A. Section 1 of chapter 40X of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking out the definition of “ Lead jurisdiction” and inserting in place thereof the following 2 definitions:-\r\n“Governing body”, the city council or board of aldermen in a city or the board of selectmen or town council in a town or the board of commissioners or executive body in a county.\r\n“Lead jurisdiction”, the city, town or county in which the tourism destination marketing district petition is filed.\r\nSECTION 59B. Said section 1 of said chapter 40X, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by striking out the definition of “Municipal governing body.\r\nSECTION 59C. Said section 1 of said chapter 40X, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by inserting after the word “municipality”, in line 29, the following words:- or county..\r\nSECTION 59D. Section 2 of said chapter 40X, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking out, in line 2, the word “municipal”.\r\nSECTION 59E. Section 3 of said chapter 40X, as so appearing, is hereby amended by inserting after the word “municipality”, in line 4, the following words:- or county.\r\nSECTION 59F. Said section 3 of said chapter 40X, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by striking out, in line 32, the words “or towns” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- , towns or counties.\r\nSECTION 59G. Said section 3 of said chapter 40X, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by striking out, in line 36, the words “city or town’s” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- city, town or county’s.\r\nSECTION 59H. Section 4 of said chapter 40X, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking out, in line 1, the word “municipal”.\r\nSECTION 59I. Said section 4 of said chapter 40X, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by striking out, in lines 13 and 14, the words “municipality’s website” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- the website of the city, town or county.\r\nSECTION 59J. Said section 4 of said chapter 40X, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by striking out, in line 19 and 23, the word “municipal”.\r\nSECTION 59K. Said section 4 of said chapter 40X, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by striking out, in line 31 and lines 32 and 33, the words “local municipal”.\r\nSECTION 59L. Said section 4 of said chapter 40X, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by striking out, in line 38, the word “municipal”.\r\nSECTION 59M. Said section 4 of said chapter 40X, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by striking out, in line 56 and 57, the words “municipality’s website” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- website of the city, town or county.\r\nSECTION 59N. Said section 4 of said chapter 40X, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by striking out, in line 101, the word “municipal”.\r\nSECTION O. Said section 4 of said chapter 40X, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by striking out, in line 110, the words “local municipal”.\r\nSECTION 59P. Section 5 of said chapter 40X, as so appearing, is hereby amended, by striking out, in line 16, the word “municipal”.\r\nSECTION 59Q. Section 7 of said chapter 40X, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking out, in line 2, the word “municipal”.\r\nSECTION 59R. Section 8 of said chapter 40X, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking out, in line 1, the word “municipal”.\r\nSECTION 59S. Said section 8 of said chapter 40X, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by striking out, in line 7, the words “local municipal”.\r\nSECTION 59T. Said section 8 of said chapter 40X, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by striking out, in lines 21 and 22, the word “municipal”.\r\nSECTION 59U. Said section 9 of said chapter 40X, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by striking out, in lines 14, 20 and 21, 23, 29 and 39, the word “municipal”.\r\nSECTION 59X. Section 10 of said chapter 40X, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking out, in lines 3, 5, 15 and 16, 16 and 17, 19, 23 and 30, the words “local municipal”.\r\nSECTION 59Y. Said section 10 of said chapter 40X, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by striking out, in line 36, the word “municipally”.\r\nSECTION 59Z. Said section 10 of said chapter 40X, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by inserting after the word “municipality”, in line 41, the following words:- or county.\r\nSECTION 59AA.
