A message from His Excellency the Governor (under Section 8 of Article LXXXIX of the Amendments to the Constitution) recommending legislation relative to authorizing the town of Groton, acting by and through its board of selectmen and board of water commissioners, to convey a conservation restriction on certain parcels of land to the Division of Fisheries and Wildlife by its Department of Fish and Game. January 18, 2012.
- Deval L. Patrick
Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to immediately allow the grant of conservation restrictions encumbering the parcels of land described herein to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, therefore, it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.
