SENATE, Tuesday, April 17, 2018 - The committee on Mental Health, Substance Use and Recovery, to whom was referred the petitions (accompanied by bill, Senate, No. 1083) of Cynthia S. Creem for legislation to require victims to be notified of certain hearings concerning the custodial status of individuals adjudged not guilty of a crime by reason of mental illness or after being found not competent to stand trial; (accompanied by bill, Senate, No. 1084) of Cynthia S. Creem, John J. Lawn, Jr., Barbara A. L'Italien, Patrick M. O'Connor and other members of the General Court for legislation to transfer Bridgewater State Hospital from the Department of Corrections to the Department of Mental Health; (accompanied by bill, Senate, No. 1094) of Jennifer L. Flanagan for legislation to promote high value and evidence-based behavioral health care; (accompanied by bill, Senate, No. 1097) of Jennifer L. Flanagan, Marjorie C. Decker, Barbara A. L'Italien, James B. Eldridge and other members of the General Court for legislation to prevent adolescent substance use; (accompanied by bill, Senate, No. 1102) of John F. Keenan, Michael G. Bellotti, Norfolk County Sheriff, Adam G. Hinds and Carlos Gonzalez for legislation to expand addiction treatment within houses of correction; (accompanied by bill, Senate, No. 1104) of Vincent Lawrence Dixon for legislation to improve the quality of mental health services, and rights of patients, by providing for sufficient privacy; (accompanied by bill, Senate, No. 1105) of Marie Winfield for legislation to protect public health, promote accountability and prevent the violation of individual rights through the misuse – abuse & the violation of law; (accompanied by bill, Senate, No. 1106) of Barbara A. L'Italien, Kevin G. Honan, Jonathan Hecht and Alice Hanlon Peisch for legislation relative to services for individuals with autism spectrum disorder; (accompanied by bill, Senate, No. 1107) of Barbara A. L'Italien, James B. Eldridge, Paul R. Heroux and Juana Matias for legislation to reaffirm our commitment to serving adults with autism; and (accompanied by bill, Senate, No. 1116) of James E. Timilty for legislation relative to the classification of the street drug known as Molly, reports the accompanying Order (Senate, No. 2440).
