An Act relative to applications for waivers of the patient protection and affordable care act
Section 77 contained in the engrossed Bill making appropriations for the fiscal year 2015 to provide for supplementing certain existing appropriations and for certain other activities and projects (see House, No. 3829), which had been returned by His Excellency the Governor with recommendation of amendment (for message, see Attachment E of House, No. 3838). Emergency Preamble
Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to forthwith require the board of the commonwealth health insurance connector to report on applications for waivers of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Ac, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.
