Senate, February 8, 2024 -- The committee on Tourism, Arts and Cultural Development, to whom was referred the petitions (accompanied by resolve, Senate, No. 2187) of Julian Cyr that provisions be made for an investigation and study by a special commission (including members of the General Court) on artistic representation in the People’s House; (accompanied by bill, Senate, No. 2188) of Anne M. Gobi and Danillo A. Sena for legislation to modernize library access to electronic books and digital audiobooks; (accompanied by bill, Senate, No. 2194) of Jacob R. Oliveira, Patricia A. Duffy, Brian M. Ashe, Patrick M. O'Connor and others for legislation to establish a program to increase cultural equity in tourism promotion and marketing; and (accompanied by resolve, Senate, No. 2195) of Jacob R. Oliveira that provisions be made for an investigation and study by a special commission (including members of the General Court) to establish a State House restoration and management commission, report the accompanying Order (Senate, No. 2617).
