House Committee on Redistricting 191st (2019 - 2020)

It shall be the duty of the committee on Redistricting to review and implement when practicable recommendations issued by the 2010 Special Joint Committee on Redistricting as well as making recommendations on best practices for the next legislative division of the Commonwealth under the United States Constitution and under Article CI of the Amendments to the Massachusetts Constitution. The committee shall also serve in an advisory capacity to other joint committees that consider legislation with significant redistricting impacts. The committee may participate with other committees in joint hearings at the request of the Speaker or by agreement of the committee chairs.
