An Act designating PANDAS/PANS Awareness Day

By Mr. Scibak of South Hadley, a petition (accompanied by bill, House, No. 2882) of John W. Scibak and others for the annual proclamation by the Governor designating May 4th as PANDAS/PANS Awareness Day, to raise awareness of the occurrence of pediatric autoimmune neuropsychiatric disorders associated with streptococcal infections and pediatric acute-onset neuropsychiatric syndrome. State Administration and Regulatory Oversight.

Emergency Preamble

Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to establish forthwith PANDAS/PANS Awareness Day on May 4th, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.
