Pursuant to House Rule 85A, the House of Representatives has asked the State Auditor to recommend to the House Committee on Operations, Facilities and Security a private, independent auditing firm to conduct an audit of the House financial accounts for FY25, but the State Auditor has declined. Now that the FY24 audit has been completed, the House Business Manager will retain a private, independent auditing firm to begin the FY25 audit.
