An Act increasing the membership of the board of trustees and increasing quorum for the transaction of the corporate business of Amherst College
By Mr. Rosenberg, a petition (accompanied by bill, Senate, No. 2267) of Stanley C. Rosenberg and Ellen Story for legislation to increase the membership of the board of trustees and increasing quorum for the transaction of the corporate business of Amherst College. Higher Education.

Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to permit forthwith an increase in the number of members of Trustees of Amherst College from a maximum of 21 to a maximum of 25, therefore, it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.
