Rodrigues and others for the establishment of a task force (including members of the General Court) to investigate short and long-term solutions to preserving and strengthening the cranberry industry. Emergency Preamble

Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to establish a cranberry industry revitalization task force, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public health and convenience.
