Emergency Preamble

Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to forthwith set apart the month of March as Massachusetts Maple Month and designate pure Massachusetts maple syrup as the official sweetener of the commonwealth, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.
