SENATE, Thursday, May 18, 2017 - The committee on Ways and Means to whom was referred the Senate Bill establishing a sick leave bank for Dean Canada, an employee of the Department of Correction (Senate, No. 2048),-- reports, recommending that the same ought to pass with an amendment substituting a new draft with the same title,- reports the accompanying bill (Senate, No. 2073).

Emergency Preamble

Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to establish forthwith a sick leave bank for a certain employee of the department of correction, therefore, it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.
