By Representative Hendricks of New Bedford and Senator Montigny, a joint petition (accompanied by bill, House, No. 3916) of Christopher Hendricks and Mark C. Montigny (by vote of the town) that the town of Acushnet be authorized to exempt uniformed positions in the fire department of said town from certain provisions of the civil service law.
