By Mr. Cabral of New Bedford, a petition (subject to Joint Rule 12) of Antonio F. D. Cabral for legislation to revive and continue the special commission established (under Chapter 2 of the Resolves of 2020) relative to the seal and motto of the Commonwealth. State Administration and Regulatory Oversight.

Emergency Preamble

Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to establish forthwith an amendment to the seal and motto commission, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.
