Senate, April 16, 2024 -- The committee on Environment and Natural Resources, to whom was referred the petitions (accompanied by bill, Senate, No. 459) of John J. Cronin and Julian Cyr for legislation relative to right of entry to prevent environmental violations; (accompanied by bill, Senate, No. 540) of Susan L. Moran, Carmine Lawrence Gentile, Vanna Howard, Joanne M. Comerford and other members of the General Court for legislation to empower towns and cities to protect residents and the environment from harmful pesticides; (accompanied by bill, Senate, No. 580) of Bruce E. Tarr and Michelle M. DuBois for legislation to further protect research animals; and (accompanied by bill, Senate, No. 590) of John C. Velis, Jack Patrick Lewis, Vanna Howard, Steven George Xiarhos and other members of the General Court for legislation to prohibit the sale of fur products, report the accompanying Order (Senate, No. 2729).
