This bill would transfer the administration of the victim compensation program from the Attorney General's Office to the Massachusetts Office for Victim Assistance (MOVA). By consolidating the program in MOVA, it would facilitate the claims process for victims of crime and make it easier for them to access this important assistance during their time of need.
